OVERVIEW

Bob is an independent corporate governance professional and a co-founding partner of Pontis Global. Prior to Pontis Bob was a director at Ironstone Global Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Intertrust Group) having joined its predecessor in 2011.

Based in the United States, Bob provides fiduciary services to a carefully selected and limited group of clients. He has extensive experience with the establishment, oversight and termination of investment funds, SPVs, REITs and corporates. He works closely with third-party administrators, auditors, attorneys, investment managers and other service providers globally.


BACKGROUND

Prior to joining Ironstone, Bob was Head of Research at Sciens Capital, a fund of hedge funds, where he oversaw and performed due diligence on hedge funds as well as being involved with acquisitions of other firms. Before Sciens and through 2007, he was with Ivy Asset Management for ten years, where he was the Director of Research and managed a team of twenty investment professionals that monitored USD 15BN of assets allocated across 150 hedge fund managers representing all major hedge fund investment strategies. At Ivy, Bob was also a Portfolio Manager for discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios, a member of the Investment and Risk Committees as well as building and leading the firm’s dedicated Operational Due Diligence team.

Bob began his career as a Reporter with Financial World Magazine in the publication’s Statistics and Special Projects group.


EDUCATION & MEMBERSHIPS

Bob received an MBA in Finance from Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Siena College. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is licensed as a Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) pursuant to the Directors Registration and Licensing Act, 2014.
