OVERVIEW

Scott is a co-founding partner of Pontis Global. Scott is a highly experienced independent director based in the Cayman Islands with over 30 years’ experience in the fund industry including over 20 years as an independent director. Scott currently serves as an independent director and advisory board member on investment vehicles managed by some of the world’s most notable investment managers.


BACKGROUND

Prior to this Scott was a director in the fiduciary services team at Intertrust in Cayman from 2016 to 2022 when Intertrust acquired the Elian Group. From 2005 to 2016 Scott was with Elian Fiduciary Services in Cayman and had global responsibility for services to open ended fund clients. Before this Scott spent 2 years with Aviva plc in the Scotland, 5 years with UBS in the Cayman Islands, 2 years with Lazard Brothers in London, 3 years with PWC in the Bahamas and 3 years with Deloitte in Scotland.


EDUCATION & MEMBERSHIPS

Scott is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and graduated from Dundee University in Scotland with a Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours in 1990.

Scott is a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association and is licensed as a Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority pursuant to the Directors Registration and Licensing Act, 2014.
